ACROBATICS: Any leotard (no skirts or sleeves) & stirrup tights (barefoot), hair in ponytail

BALLET (Ruby level): Any leotard (no skirts or sleeves), tights, pink ballet shoes, hair in ponytail or bun

BALLET (Topaz, Emerald and Sapphire levels):Uniform leotard (we will take your size at registration), pink tights, pink ballet shoes, hair in a bun, no bangs, no jewelry

HIP-HOP (Amethyst level): Comfortable clothes - sweats, shorts, t-shirts, hoodies, anything goes & any non-marking high-topped, flat & thick-bottomed tennis shoes (NOT shox, running shoes, etc - ask if you have questions).

HIP-HOP/STREET JAZZ (Opal & Diamond levels): Street clothes - hoodie, long-sleeves shirt, etc and long pants (sweats ok, no pajama bottoms or tight clothing) & any non-marking high-topped, flat & thick-bottomed tennis shoes (NOT shox, running shoes, etc - ask if you have questions). Recital routine may require certain color/style of shoe. JCD students must have sneakers of dark/neutral coloring to be able to use at conventions and/or possible routines (steer clear of neons or pastels), again, ask if you have questions.

INTRO TO DANCE (Levels I & II): pink leotard (skirts, sleeves & tutus are welcome), pink tights, pink ballet shoes, tan buckle tap shoes (purchased through studio).. Hair in any style that is not distracting to the dancer.

JAZZ: Any leotard (no skirts or sleeves), tights, and tan slip-on jazz shoes. Hair in a ponytail.

PILATES: Leotard & tights, "Soffe" shorts & fitted shirt
 or dance shorts & a crop or long top. Hair in a ponytail. Students must be barefoot.

TAP (Amethyst level): Any leotard (no skirts or sleeves), tights, and tan buckle tap shoes (purchased through studio). Hair in a ponytail.

TAP (Opal & Diamond levels): Any leotard (no skirts or sleeves), tights, and slip on tap shoes (a certain color may be needed for recital). Hair in a ponytail.

MALE STUDENTS: Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Acro - black or navy shorts, solid colored shirt, black dance shoes appropriate to the class style (barefoot for acro). Hip-hop dress code same as female students.
 

FOR EVERYONE'S SAFETY & OPTIMAL PROGRESS:
No gum in the classrooms.

Street clothes/coverups only permitted in Hip-Hop.

No jewelry in ANY class except small stud earrings.

No long or fake finger/toe nails.

"Bike-a-tard" dancewear styles (one-piece that includes shorts) not permitted.

JCD-Team Students must wear a competition-style high ponytail with no bangs or wispies to ALL classes other than ballet with neutral-colored hair elastics. Small hair accessories only, no ribbons or bows.

FREE DRESS DAYS FOR UPPER-LEVEL CLASSES
(INTRO TO DANCE, MINI, RUBY & AMETHYST LEVELS DO NOT HAVE FREE DRESS DAYS)
One day per month in each of the Tuesday & Saturday upper level classes will be designated as a "Free Dress Day" - hair & dance shoe requirements do not change, regulations on coverups & jewelry etc still apply, but dancwear changes to black booty shorts (may not be worn if they do not "stay put" during movement) & a half or long top that is skin-tight. Dates will be listed here by the beginning of September.

Our prices are extremely low, and you can call or email to schedule a fitting, or, stop in about 30 minutes before your first class! Any item not in stock will be ordered, and is normally received in 4 business days.
